Brick is a salt-air town, and it matters
A big share of Brick sits on or near the water — lagoon homes off Princeton Avenue, Normandy Beach, the whole stretch toward the bay. Salt air is quietly brutal on holiday lighting. It corrodes cheap connectors, eats un-anodized aluminum brackets, and it is the single most common reason a lighting system that looked great in year one is half dark in year three.
On Brick installs we default to fully sealed connectors and marine-grade fasteners. On the bayfront homes we also plan for wind: an install that is clipped properly to the shingle edge stays put through a nor'easter, and one that is loosely draped does not.
Elevated and raised homes
A lot of the waterfront housing stock in Brick was raised after Sandy, which changed the lighting job completely. You now have a taller front elevation, pilings or a lifted foundation, and often a wraparound deck line. Those homes look outstanding lit properly — the extra height gives you a second horizontal line to work with — but they need a crew that has done them before and has the ladder reach.

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Brick?
In Brick most single-story homes with the front roofline lit run about $400 to $700, a typical two-story runs about $700 to $1,400, and larger full installs with peaks, columns and trees run $1,500 and up. Price depends on roof height, pitch and total linear feet. Our pricing includes the lights, the install, in-season service, takedown and storage.
Do you actually service Brick?
Yes. We are based in Ocean County and Brick is on our regular holiday route, covering Herbertsville, Greenbriar, Normandy Beach, the lagoon communities off Princeton Avenue and everything along Route 70 and 88. We are not a national franchise routing you to a subcontractor — it is our own insured crew.
When should I book in Brick?
August through October. There are only about five prime install weekends between Halloween and Thanksgiving and they fill up, so booking early gets you better pricing and your pick of dates. Installs run from late October through the week before Thanksgiving.
Do you supply the lights or do I buy them?
We supply them. Seasonal installs include commercial-grade LED lights cut to fit your roofline, professional install, service during the season, removal in January and storage until next year. If you already own lights you love we can hang those, though we cannot warranty bulbs we did not supply.
What if a section goes dark in December?
Call or text and we come back out. In-season service is included, because a dark run in the middle of the season is the entire reason people hire this out instead of doing it themselves.
Do you do permanent lighting too?
Yes. We install permanent RGBIC LED track systems as well as seasonal lighting. If you plan to stay in the house more than about three more years, permanent usually costs less over time and works for Halloween, the Fourth of July and everyday curb appeal, not just Christmas.
